Portland Timbers U-23s 2010 Tryout Information

In preparation for the upcoming Premier Development League season, the Timbers U-23s, the development team for the Portland Timbers, will conduct a final invite-only tryout Saturday, May 1, at PGE Park as they seek talent for the 2010 campaign.

The invite-only tryout is intended for collegiate players who were unable to attend the club’s previous tryout in March due to NCAA restrictions. All participants are required to apply for a spot in the combine and select players will be invited by the coaching staff to attend. The tryout will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon (participants must check in at 8 a.m.).

The registration fee for the one-day, invite tryout is $40; players will only be charged if invited to attend. The fee includes a ticket to the exhibition between the Timbers’ first team and Costa Rican club Puntarenas FC the same night at PGE Park.

Select players invited to attend the invite-only tryout from the Timbers’ U-23s previous tryout on March 27, will not have to pay the $40 registration fee, but will need to purchase a ticket ($10) to the Timbers exhibition match.
