Discovered at the Timbers annual player tryout, Kwesele was the first-ever signed player for the Timbers U-23s.

College:  Started his collegiate career in 2005 at Santa Clara University ... played in three matches for the Broncos during his freshman season and scored a goal in his first appearance of the year ... Transfered to Seattle University prior to the 2006 season and had a standout career with the Redhawks, helping the school make back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances in 2006 and 2007 ... Recorded a career-high three assists during his senior season in 2008 ... Earned Academic All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference honors in 2007 for his efforts in the classroom ... In total, played in 42 games and recorded two goals and five assists during his collegiate career.
