Biography:
Savage enters his second professional season in 2009, and his first with the Timbers.
2008: Played in six matches (three starts) and logged one assist with Chivas USA during his rookie season ... recorded 295 minutes ... was selected 43rd overall in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft and was Chivas USA's only draft pick in 2008.
2006-07: Played two seasons with the Central Florida Craze of the Premier Development League (PDL) ... scored 11 goals and three assists during his time with the Craze.
College: Was a standout player at University of West Florida ... during his collegiate career accumulated 47 goals and 25 assists ... was a three-time All-South Region first-team selection ... as a junior in 2006, was named the All-South Region Most Outstanding Player of the Year and Division II First Team All-American. |
