The 2010 season marks the fourth season with the Timbers for all-league defender Cameron Knowles.

 

2009: Played in 20 matches with the Timbers before suffering a season-ending leg injury Aug. 12 against the Montreal Impact ... Was a three-time USL First Division Team of the Week recipient (Weeks 5, 9, 18) ... Earned all-league second-team honors for a second straight season ... Helped the Timbers to a league-record 24 game unbeaten streak and the 2009 USL First Division Commissioner’s Cup.

 

2008: Played in 29 matches for the Timbers ... Had a run of 57 consecutive league appearances come to an end Sept. 4 ... Earned USL First Division All-League second-team honors.

 

2007: Played in all 28 regular-season matches for Portland ... Became the ninth player in modern-franchise history to play in every game during the regular season ... Led the league in minutes played with 2,520 ... Named to the USL First Division All-League first team ... Selected as one of three finalists for the USL First Division Defender of the Year award ... Part of the Timbers defense that set a new modern-franchise record for fewest goals allowed in a single season (18).

 

2006: Played in all 12 Reserve Division matches for Real Salt Lake (MLS) ... Logged 929 minutes.

 

2005: Was the 37th overall pick (fourth round) by Salt Lake in the 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft ... Made his professional debut on June 22 against Los Angeles ... Played in four matches (3 starts) ... Appeared in 10 Reserve Division matches.

 

COLLEGE: Was a two-time All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) first-team selection at the University of Akron ... Served as the team’s captain his senior season ...Guided Akron to MAC titles in 2002 and 2004, and four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances ... Named a College Soccer News All-Freshman Team honorable mention.
