Match Experience

National Anthem
The Portland Timbers are constantly looking for local soloists and groups to sing the National Anthem for all home matches.  If you would like to be considered please submit one of the following: mp3, mp4, youtube video to promotions@portlandtimbers.com, subject line National Anthem Submission.  Please include name, phone number, email address, past performance experience and if you can sing the Canadian Anthem or God Bless America.  All performers will be asked to sing acapella and without note cards; thus submissions with accompanying music or lyric aids will not be considered.      

Due to the number of entries we received each year we must ask that you do not call or email to check on the status of your submission.  A representative of the Portland Timbers will contact you if you are chosen to perform.  

Outback Steakhouse Post-Game Player Autographs
The Portland Timbers will host post-game player autographs following each home match during the 2012 season. Each event will feature up to six players that will sign autographs for fans above the KeyBank Club on the east side of JELD-WEN Field.  Each fan is encouraged to bring his/her own item to be signed; if you need an item, autograph sheets will be available. Fans are asked to only bring one item to be signed per person and to abstain from taking any photos in order to keep the pace of the line moving, so that all fans can be a part of this fun post-game event.

Space for autograph signings is limited and will require receipt of a dated autograph voucher in advance. Stay tuned to the team’s Twitter and Foursquare pages, plus portlandtimbers.com to find out how to win this opportunity. Additionally, Portland Timbers season ticket holders will be eligible to receive an inventory of vouchers each match, based on availability. Please contact your season ticket service representative to learn more.

Face Painting
Put your game face on!

Free Face Painting will be available to fans at each Timbers match! There will be several predesigned “game faces” and stencils for fans to choose from, but feel free to create your own. Our official face painters are stocked up with all the Timbers team colors and more! They are ready to paint on Timbers axes, soccer balls, your favorite player’s number, a chainsaw, phrases like “No Pity” and “STAND TOGETHER”; the list goes on!  Look for our designated face painting table on the top of the KeyBank Club Deck, and make sure to arrive early on game days to avoid standing in long lines.

Video Board Messages
Whoever said PDA was wrong?  Share a birthday, anniversary, or personal message on the video board at JELD-WEN Field. Messages can be displayed during any Timbers home game for $25. Include a photo for $50.

Guidelines:

• Requests must be submitted by email to promotions@portlandtimbers.com at least 48 hours before the specified game. 
• Messaged should be 30 characters or less
• If interested, please include
  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number and best time to contact you
  • Date of game
  • The message you wish to display (we recommend messages be around 30 characters including spaces and punctuation.)
