Marcelin joined the Timbers MLS side after one season with the club in the second division in 2010. Signed by Portland on Dec. 15, 2010, Marcelin played two seasons with the Puerto Rico Islanders in the USL First Division, where he made back-to-back CONCACAF Champions League appearances. He has been a part of the Haiti National Team since 2007, competing in both the 2007 and 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cups among his senior team appearances.

2012: Logged 14 minuntes of action on March 31 against Real Salt Lake ... Played the final 13 minutes of a 1-1 draw with FC Dallas on March 17 ... Made his season debut March 12 against Philadelphia as an 80th-minute sub.

2011: Made his MLS debut at New England on April 2 ... Went on to start 12 of his 20 league appearances throughout the season ... Became the first Timbers player to receive a yellow card in three straight matches July 10-23 ... Started and played 90 minutes of the club’s 2-0 win over Chivas USA in a U.S. Open Cup play-in match March 29 ... Started in an overtime loss to San Jose in U.S. Open Cup qualifying May 3 ... Missed time in the middle of the season with a right knee injury ... Started friendlies against AFC Ajax May 25 and Mexico’s Club América July 7.

2010: Started 22 of his 25 regular-season appearances for the Timbers during the USSF Division-2 Pro League season ... Assisted on Ryan Pore’s game-winning goal in a 2-1 vic­tory over the Vancouver Whitecaps on April 29 ... Played in two Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup fixtures ... Scored in a 3-0 win over the Sonoma County Sol at PGE Park June 15 ... Started in an international friendly against Mexico’s Atlas at PGE Park on July 11 ... Featured in both of the Timbers’ first-round playoff matches, and scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Vancouver in the second leg Oct. 10 in Portland.

2009: Played in 22 games for the Puerto Rico Islanders of the USL First Division ... Logged 1,635 minutes and one assist ... Helped Puerto Rico reach the semifinal round of the USL First Division playoffs before falling to eventual-champion Montreal Impact ... Competed in the 2009-10 CONCACAF Champions League with the Islanders ... Played in seven tournament matches, ranking among team lead­ers in tournament games played ... Puerto Rico finished the group stage with a 0-3-3 record.

2008: Appeared in nine games in his first season with Puerto Rico ... Totaled 487 minutes ... Missed some league action while with the Haiti U-23 National Team at the 2008 CONCACAF U-23 Tournament ... Aided in the Islanders’ run to the USL First Division Commissioner’s Cup as the league’s regular-season champion and the USL First Divi­sion finals against the Vancouver Whitecaps ... Was a part of Puerto Rico’s successful appearance in the 2008-09 CONCACAF Champions League, reaching the semifinals against Mexico’s Cruz Azul ... Played in nine games during the tournament.

2007: Before joining Puerto Rico, played for Haitian top-flight club Racing Club Haitien, historically one of the best clubs in the country.2003-07: Started his career in his native Haiti in 2003 with Roulado FC, helping the club become league champions in 2003 (Clausura).

INTERNATIONAL: A member of the Haiti National Team since 2007 ... Featured in four 2014 World Cup qualifying matches for Haiti in 2011 ... Scored goals in back-to-back 2014 World Cup qualifying matches Sept. 2 and Sept. 6, 2011, against the US Virgin Islands and Curacao as Haiti opened its World Cup qualifying with two wins ... Played in the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup, appearing in all four of Haiti’s games during the tournament, including a 2-2 draw against the United States ... Scored a goal against Grenada in that tournament ... Other international competitions include the 2007 Gold Cup and a 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica ... Was named to the 18-man squad for an international friendly against FIFA 2010 World Cup-bound Argentina on May 5, 2010.
