The 2010 Hermann Trophy winner, Nagbe was selected No. 2 overall in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft by the Timbers. A member of MLS’s Generation adidas, Nagbe appeared in 28 matches during his rookie season in Portland. A standout at the University of Akron, he led the Zips to the NCAA national championship as a junior in 2010.

2012: Has started eight straight games ... Scored the first multi-goal game of his professional career with two goals in a 3-2 loss against Real Salt Lake on March 31 ... His second goal against Real Salt Lake won the MLS AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 4 ... Was named to the league’s Team of the Week for Week 4 following a two-goal performance ...
