Highlighting the second week of preseason training camp, the Portland Timbers travel north to face Major League Soccer’s Seattle Sounders FC Thursday in a preseason match at Qwest Field in Seattle at 6 p.m.

The Timbers and Real Salt Lake of MLS have agreed in principle to a loan agreement that will see midfielder Alex Nimo join the Timbers on loan for a second season in 2010, it was announced today.

The Timbers U-23s, the development team of the Portland Timbers, will conduct a player tryout on Saturday, March 27 at Gresham High School as they seek talent for the upcoming Premier Development League season.
