Radio
The Timbers hit the Spanish airwaves in 2008 with the addition of Churchill Media's 1040 AM "La X" broadcasting all 15 regular-season home matches at PGE Park. The new Spanish-language broadcast features the play-calling of broadcaster Fernando Sobrevilla, and a 25-minute pre-game show filled with match previews, interviews and the latest Timbers news. More information regaring the Timbers online broadcast will be available soon.

Video Webcasts
Once again, the USL and Turner Broadcasting will pair up to provide fans the opportunity to watch their favorite USL First Division clubs through USL Live, an online broadband channel at www.usllive.com. USL Live provides fans the best seats in the house with full-screen video delivered to your computer. With USL Live, fans can watch matces live or replay them on deman. Television
In 2008, the Timbers will have nine matches televised during the regular season, with four on Fox Soccer Channel and five on FSN. Three of the four matches broadcast on Fox Soccer Channel will take place on the road, while all five FSN broadcasts will feature home matches at PGE Park. Portland's television schedule begins May 30 on the road against the Montreal Impact. The FSN schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

Andy McNamara – Play-by-Play Announcer
Serving as the voice of the Timbers since 2001, McNamara brings nearly 20 years of play-by-play experience to the team’s broadcasts. Prior to joining the Timbers, McNamara was the play-by-play announcer for the University of Portland soccer program and spent time as a color commentator for the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Cup. A graduate of the University of Maine, he currently serves as assistant director of media services for the University of Oregon Athletics. Andy and his wife, Tami, have two daughters, Maize and Tilly, and live in Eugene, Ore.
