Portland and JELD-WEN Field host the Gold Cup this summer for the first time ever, when the U.S. Men’s National Team play Belize and Costa Rica faces Cuba on July 9. One ticket gets you both matches.

This weekend, the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps will face each other in the second Cascadia Cup match of the season. The first match saw the Timbers draw even with Seattle Sounders at CenturyLink Field. The Timbers will look to take sole possession of first place in the Cascadia standings at BC Place on Saturday, and there is no doubt that many Timbers fans will make the trip.
As the season wears on, the costs of traveling to away Cascadia matches can start to add up. This season, our friends at 76 would like to support the fans that support the team. All you need to do is Instagram a shot of you traveling to or from this weekend's match with the hashtag #76roadtrip and you'll be eligible to win a $100 gas card and autographed Timbers team jersey. Not going to Canada this time? Never fear, the contest will also be happening for future Cascadia Cup rivalry matches on August 25th at Seattle and October 6th at Vancouver.
Onward, Rose City!
The Portland Timbers Don't Cross The Line.

During the previous home match against Montreal, the Portland Timbers Food Cart Alliance featured Nong’s Khao Man Gai. Nong’s signature chicken and rice dish with their famous ginger/soybean chili sauce as well as fried chicken wings smothered in Nong’s sweet chili glaze was a huge hit. In fact, the dishes were so popular that Nong’s sold out during the match.
If you missed out on Nong’s delicious offerings, fear not. The Portland Timbers Food Cart Alliance has invited Nong’s Khao Man Gai back to be the featured food cart for the April 6th match against the Houston Dynamo.
Nong’s will be serving up their signature chicken as well as their fried chicken wings at the Soccer City Grill concession stand located at the southeast corner of JELD-WEN Field above Section 93.

Saturday’s featured Portland Timbers Food Cart Alliance member is Nong’s Khao Man Gai. But beyond all the delicious food, soccer holds a special place in the heart of Nong. Originally from Thailand, she talks about her love of soccer and excitement at being a part of a Timbers match:
I grew up playing soccer. I was a foward. Soccer is very big in Thailand, not very big for women but I could not get in other kinds of sports teams. Training for soccer has changed my life and how I look at sports. It has taught me so much as a person. Portland is a great city with a variety of people. I want the Timbers fans to experience some really good food from Bangkok. We use good ingredients and strive to be the best. We all have something in common: we love soccer!

The unveiling will feature an art exhibition, with the Timbers pieces included in select galleries on Alberta Street in Northeast Portland. The roar of the crowd.
The electricity of matchday.
Do you want to be a part of the Portland Timbers AND get paid at the same time? Today is your lucky day as the Timbers are in the market for Guest Services Attendants.
Guest Attendants act as the primary providers of direct service to guests as they enter and attend events. They're oftentimes the first people that fans meet when entering JELD-WEN Field and are among the most crucial to helping set the tone for what can be a spectacular Timbers experience. And we need more of them.
